I’ve always believed that food is more than flavor — it’s emotion.

It’s the quiet comfort of a familiar dish, the spark of discovering something new, and the joy of sharing it with people who get it.


After a lifetime spent behind bars — and in dining rooms and kitchens — I’ve learned that what stays with you isn’t the awards or the accolades, it’s the moments. The laughter that fills the space between courses. The small gestures of hospitality that say, “You’re welcome here.”


Foodie in Paradise™ was born from that feeling. It’s not a review site or a restaurant directory. It’s a gathering place — a living, breathing journal of flavors, travels, and conversations that remind us why we fell in love with food in the first place.

It’s also a growing resource for curious food lovers — a place to discover stories, experiences, and ideas that inspire the way we cook, dine, and explore.

 

Here, we’ll sip, savor, and share together — from the humblest beachside plate lunch to the kind of dinner that makes you forget to check your phone. It’s about slowing down long enough to notice what’s on your plate, who’s across the table, and how lucky we are to be part of it all.
